From the Manufacturer: The most advanced design in loop tools supports the cable during the forming process, reducing forces that can set up physical stresses in cables. V-groove shoes contact different diameter cables at two contact points effectively distributing the forces over more cable surface. Outboard shoes of the tool move in a radial fashion, pulling cable into the loop. Original cable flexibility is maintained adding years to loop life.

The L-1149d produces 8-inch deep, 12-inch flat bottom, 43-inch overall length loop.
